Project : The Mahabharata


When first narrated, the epic was originally known as Jaya, with 8,800 shlokas. The full 1,00,000 verses were completed after additions that took place for several centuries, and was finally renamed as Mahabharata. This project aims at articles related to the Great Indian Epic of the Mahabharata.

Note

This is a full time inexhaustible project, full time indicating that the project shall be in operation for as long as it takes, whereas inexhaustible indicating that all articles that are yet to be created under this project couldn't be enlisted at once given the vast expanse of the project title, and therefore the project does yield space for further additions into the list of articles that are to be created under this project as it progresses further in research.

Please do contribute by making additons to the list in the Create Articles section as and when any important subject related to the title of the project is discovered missing.
