Rani Padmavati
Rani Padmavati was well known as Padmini. She was the wife of Raja Ratan Sen. Her beauty caught the eye of the sultan of Delhi, Ala-ud-din Khilji. He abducted Raja Ratna Sen and that led to a fierce battle. At last, to save her honor, she committed Jauhar.
