Nyaya Philosophy
Nyaya is one the six astika schools of Indian Philosophy, traditionally ascribed to sage Gautama whose Nyaya-Sutras are a foundational text for this school. The major contribution of Naiyayikas to Hindu thought is their emphasis on epistemology and logic.
