Lal Bahadur Shastri


Lal Bahadur Shastri served as the second Prime Minister of India from 1964 to 1966. His leadership during the 1965 India Pakistan War was commendable. He also initiated the Green Revolution in India. His slogan Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan continues to reverberate in mainstream politics even today.
