Digambara Jain Community
The Digambara sect is one of the two major sects of Jainism- the other being Shvetambara. The Digambara tradition asserts on the necessity of a total renunciation of clothing for monks in order to attain salvation. The Digambaras claim their monastic genealogy to be the original Jain tradition.
